Sëntinël - Personal Safety App app for iPhone and iPad

Sëntinël is a safety communications utility for your smartphone, with emergency and non-emergency communication features.

***NON-EMERGENCY***
Going for a run, checking in, or walking home. Initiate non-emergency communications allowing others to track your location. Enter a mobile number and message. The recipient receives your message and a link to your real-time, tracked and mapped location.


***EMERGENCY***
In an emergency, immediate access to accurate information and establishing contact with authorities who will provide the quickest response is vital to facilitating an outcome in which youre both safe and healthy.

Store emergency information. In the event of an emergency, connect to the service best suited to respond to your needs and location. While your saved contacts are automatically alerted to the emergency and your real-time, tracked and mapped location.

In either scenario your location is only accessible when youve initiated tracking and inaccessible upon cancelling it.

Emergency Communication Options:
- Call 911 Dispatch (911 is programmed into the app)
- Text 911 Dispatch* (911 is programmed into the app)
- Call Alternate Emergency # (Campus police, Neighborhood security, etc)

*If initiating a text to 911:
911 Dispatch will also receive your location. This is beneficially, as Text-to-911 does not currently have the ability to grab your location.

USE:
Create an account and subscribe to a plan. Save a few key pieces of personal emergency information and Sëntinël is ready to aid you in an emergency or non-emergency communications.

Note:
It is important to always allow Sëntinël access to your location when prompted.

In an Emergency:
-Open the app
-Initiate an emergency response
-Youre connected to emergency services
-Your saved contacts are alerted to the event and your mapped location in real time.
-Once youre safe disable location tracking.

Sëntinël is free to download. The service is fully enabled via active subscription.

Each subscription includes a 7 day free trial so you review the app with an emergency test call before committing to anything. After the trial period, your iTunes Account is billed based on your chosen subscription. $3.99/ month for our monthly subscription -or- $39.99/ year for our annual subscription. Subscriptions are auto-renewable and may be canceled at any time in your iTunes Account Settings.

Payments automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the users Account Settings after purchase.
